I have been a mask and puppet maker for over 30 years. In addition to making wearable masks which are used in community pageants, I create wall hanging clay masks.

The masks seen here were created to share my experience of a 7-day walk-about fast I did in 2012 in the Superstition Mountains of Central Arizona, my childhood home. Each day represented a direction and element. Above, Below, North, South, East, West, and Center. Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Spirit, Birth and Burial.
